Buying from a dealership

Today i went into a dealership and they had the 2024 Yamaha R3 on Black Friday special for $8000 and a free nitro helmet worth $120 Is this worth? I also tried negotiating for a better deal and extras but they just said no and wouldn’t even give me a discount on gear if i bought from them. Others stores aren’t running this black Friday sale for the R3 but to me this store has an amazing warranty policy which others stores don’t have. In the end i walked away hoping for a better deal closer to the end of the year, a christmas sale or hopefully a beginning of year sale (not sure if they even do these)

Was this the right thing to do or did i miss a deal of a lifetime?
