Thoughts on Priya Katariya and Forest Salon Ahmedabad!?!

So, I’ve been following Priya Katariya, the owner of Forest Salon in Ahmedabad, for a while now. No doubt, she’s incredibly talented, and her client transformations are often stunning. But I can’t help but notice a few things that feel a bit off sometimes.

For starters, she does come across as a bit rude in some of her videos. Maybe it’s her personality, or maybe she’s just being straightforward, but it can feel harsh, especially when it’s supposed to be a fun, feel-good transformation.

Also, the amount of whitewashing in her videos is something I find hard to overlook. Like, why is there such a huge emphasis on making everyone look lighter? It’s 2025—can we move past that already?

And, about the hairstyles—most women seem to walk out of her salon with layers and curtain bangs. Sure, it’s trendy, and she does it well, but it’s starting to feel repetitive. I’m not saying she isn’t talented—she obviously knows her craft—but some variety wouldn’t hurt, right?

Curious to know if anyone else feels the same or if I’m just being nitpicky here. Thoughts? Or does anybody know her personally or has visited her?
