Leftists embracing 2A

Hey all! Some left leaning friends and I are looking to begin practicing our 2nd amendment right. Any gun shops recommended for our eventual business? We have all applied for our FOID cards and have been watching safety and training videos. Ready to get our first firearm and would like shop recommendations. Bonus points if the shop is not ran by a bunch of right wing chuds. Would rather my money be spent somewhere that respects democracy.
