[M27] Dating as an adult is much like picking someone up at the airport...

I was just thinking about how dating as an adult feels a lot like picking someone up from the airport. You've got that initial excitement of seeing them, that anticipation of a new connection. But let's be real, you also know they're arriving with baggage.

It’s not just the literal suitcases, right? It's the past experiences, the expectations, and maybe a little bit of jet lag from previous relationships. We've all got our own stuff we're carrying.

Sometimes it feels like you're navigating the pick-up zone, trying to figure out the best way to connect. Are you going to offer a ride all the way home, or just help them find a taxi? Are you on the same page about where this is going?

And communication is key – you can't just assume they know where you're parked. You gotta express your needs and listen to theirs.

Anyone else feel this way? What are your biggest "airport baggage" issues when it comes to dating? How do you handle the pick-up/drop-off dance?

Let's share some stories and maybe help each other navigate the terminal!
