Categorisation of Videos?

Any thoughts on categorisation? I notice someone i work with’s videos that have the “search related content” at the top dont do anywhere near as well as ones where tiktok has given it a “category”, most of the tips say put text on screen with the categories and hide them off to the side, and do hashtags, but this doesnt seem to be working/garuntee’d! The importance is Obviously if your doing a skincare channel, and those first 200views as mostly to skincare fans then your going to better much better response then a general population thing?
