$30 Option Account - Updates
Hello, Ladies and Gentlemen,
In case you have been standing by and watching our progress on the $30 options challenge, here is our most recent update from today.
Today, we opened 5 Put Credit Spreads at .40 per contract and held them from shortly before 9am until 1:13pm where we closed them at .04 for a total profit of $180.
Our current portfolio amount is 663.43 and after taking out the 30% ($54) profit and setting it aside in stable investments, we have 440 in cash with which to use on trades tomorrow. The remainder is in stocks, indexes, etfs, and bitcoin.
You may note a discrepancy in the cash balance of $80. The reason being is that I added a balance in order to experiment with another strategy at the same time. I will keep record of these amounts and ensure that they are not skewing the data.
Overall, our weekly gains are at 150% percent.
We will be posting a more thorough analysis with detailed screenshots and breakdowns on freethetrade.com (not a promotion). Unfortunately we can’t do it here because we are limited to one image.
Thank you for your continued support and for following us on this $30 account challenge journey!
