Help: VFS document upload won't work, my biometrics appointment is today

I can't get the VFS website to work to upload my documents and I don't know what to do! Any advice is much appreciated!

I spent the whole day yesterday trying again and again to upload my documents. Most times I attempted to log in, I got an "Under Maintenance" error page, but occasionally I was able to log in, start uploading, but before I could finish it would boot me out again. My files are one image (<1.5Mb) and about 10 pdfs that are all very small. I was getting some "virus detected errors" which I was able to resolve by re-downloading them through Windows print-to-pdf. So now I have all my files in working order but I can't log in 90% of the time, and when I do get in, I get kicked out before I can do what I need to do!
