Radio show (2018.Feb.14): WORLD DOMINATION self-review

Here's a translation of Valentine's Day episodes.

MISA's episode

Miku: Today, February 14th is the release date of our new album, and also Valentine's Day po.
Everyone: Valentine's daaaay
Miku: From here we are going to talk about Valentine's Day po
Kanami and Akane(?): Whoo!
Miku: Do you guys have anything memorable related to Valentine's Day po?
Kanami: MISA hasn't spoken a word so far
Miku: That's right po. MISA, do you have any?
Saiki: Are you the one who does something special on Valentine's Day?
MISA: OMG
Miku: We heard OMG po. What happened po?
MISA: I confessed to a boy I liked when I was in elementary school
Saiki: On Valentine's Day?
MISA: Not actually, I sent a letter to him a few days before but it got rejected. He said he was too busy for that
Saiki: Wasn't he a schoolboy?
Miku: Wait, can a schoolboy be busy...
MISA: He had extracurricular activities or lessons
Miku: What about Valentine's Day?
MISA: For Valentine's Day I planned to give him a gift even though I had gotten rejected. I made...
Miku: Romantic po
Akane: It sounds so MISA
Saiki: You do things till the end
MISA: I made a truffle with strawberry in it if I remember it right
Akane: Isn't it stylish?
Miku: Stylish po
Saiki: Amazing
MISA: I was waiting at the school gate to give it to him but that boy somehow went back home without coming to me
Miku: You mean you couldn't meet him po?
Saiki: Did he walk through a different gate?
MISA: I don't remember well but I guess so
Miku: Did he know you were waiting for him?
Saiki: Did you get an appointment?
Miku: App...Sai-chan, it's elementary school. They don't say an appointment
Akane: It should be a promise or something
Miku: What makes you so bussiness-minded? It's not a workplace po
Saiki: Calling up?
MISA: Thinking he dodged me, he probably got it from his acquaint...well, not acquaintances...friends
Miku: Oh all hitting the wrong note...
Everyone: We got matured
MISA: Since my friends told me he was gone, I guess my friends helped me to fix the meeting at the gate Saiki: Common stories
MISA: In the end I was back home and ate the truffle alone crying
Miku: That's so heartbreaking po. Bittersweet po
MISA: It was in my 4th grade

Akane's episode

Miku: Did you guys make chocolate on Valentine's Day?
Kanami: I love that Ah-chan's story about handmade-ish chocolate
Akane: What? What are you talking about?
MISA: I want to hear the story of handmade-ish chocolate
Saiki: Handmade-ISH?
Miku: What's that po?
Akane: In short, you know the decorative cakes you can buy at a sweets shop. I rewrap it
Miku: You mean you bought it po?
Akane: Or the ones sold in supermarkets which you can buy a portion of
Saiki: That's awful
Akane: I modified it with stuff like a star-shaped sugar
Miku: To give it a handmade feel po
Akane: To give it a creative touch
Saiki: And rewrapping it?
Akane: Yeah yeah rewrapping
Miku: Do you inform a recipient it's handmade when you give it po?
Akane: Of course I say nothing. Just "Here it is"
Miku: But why po?
Akane: To impress people?
Saiki: Does that mean you can't make it properly or it's just too tedious?
Akane: Oh that, let me tell you about it. I tried once. I didn't know about a double boiler. I threw a chocolate straight into a pot and added water. After putting it over the fire, the taste got so weak and bad.
Saiki: Did it dissolve?
Akane: It got lumpy
Miku: That's quite natural po. Ingredients separate po
Saiki: You should have known that
Akane: Weird black balls were coming out one after another
Miku: It only makes a dirty mess po
Akane: It became like magma
Saiki: Oh no
Akane: I wondered if I got the water temperature wrong
Miku: You didn't realize where the problem really is po. Ah-chan, she might appear as a good cook but she's not so at all
Saiki: Yeah she can't cook
Akane: Never ever
Miku: She can't even cut a tofu
Akane: I have learned to cut a tofu recently
Saiki: Oh are you improving?
Akane: A little
Miku: Why don't you try to make chocolate by yourself po?
Akane: Oh well, I'm sorry I'll do it properly by myself
Everyone: Sorry (laugh)
Akane: It's not that I don't feel sorry
Kanami: With us you don't need to worry. We are fine with it
Miku: It's alright. I make chocolate for you all po
Saiki: You don't need to do anything
Akane: That is...you want me to try?
Saiki: No no ...not that
Miku: We didn't mean it. Let's call it off around here po

Valentine's Day songs

Miku: Speaking of Valentine's Day, there are songs related to the day. Let's get on to BAND-MAID's Valentine songs
Saiki: Heh
Miku: Heh, how such
Everyone: (laugh)
Miku: Total indifference. Could you show us a little more interest po? We have selected songs for you to listen on Valentine's Day. The first song was chosen by Sai-chan
Saiki: Yes
Miku: The one who showed no interest saying heh is first to go
Saiki: I chose this song for ya. Mio Yamazaki-san's Noise. Sai-chan thinks of Valentine's Day as a piece of shit.
Everyone: (laugh)
Akane: So it is reflected in the song choice
Saiki: I hate it as hell
Miku: Oh you do po. Why this song?
Saiki: The lyrics are stunning. Mio Yamazaki-san's perception is there, like "'Everything is alright' is not alright".
Akane: Typical menhera type
Saiki: I thought the song was about that kind of woman. Such a person should be very committed to Valentine's Day
Miku: I see po
Saiki: like "You must like it, why didn't you eat it?"
Everyone: wow, eep, scary
Saiki: The kind who would say that kind of things
Miku: So Sai-chan, you don't understand the feeling of the protagonist in the song?
Saiki: Never. I don't get how people can enjoy Valentine's Day
Miku: You don't understand but the song is about people who you imagine enjoy the day
Saiki: Those who put great importance on it
Kanami: Deep thinking

Mio Yamazaki "Noise"

Miku: Next to go is...
Kanami: Haai
Miku: Mincho!
Kanami: My song is "Blue Tears" by Judy and Mary
Miku: Why is this song po?
Kanami: When I was in high school, not sure what year, on Valentine's Day I sang this song in a live performance
Miku: What? Mincho, did you sing po?
Kanami: I did
MISA: Didn't it sound like a whole different song?
Miku: Can you sing it now po?
Kanami: "Wasure kakete ta tooi kioku"
Saiki: MISA-chan can't stop laughing
Akane: Like a cheesy romantic song, kawaii
Miku: It becomes like another song po
Saiki: Refreshing feel gets lost when sung by Mincho
Kanami: I see
Miku: Sai-chan stated it so clearly po
Kanami: It's such a cute song that I want everyone to listen to

Judy and Mary "Blue Tears"

Miku: It is my turn, Kobato's choice po. "alone" by BAND-MAID po.
Saiki: Isn't "alone" concerning?
Kanami and Saiki: No one with you?
Miku: MV of alone was released on February 14th in 2016 po.
Saiki and Akane: Yeah it was back then
Miku: We got unexpected messages from Overseas Masters and Princesses that said this song was a gift for them spending the Valentin's Day alone po
Saiki: That's right. They looked happy
Miku: It was not intended po
Saiki: It was not on our mind at all
Miku: Just coincidentally we released a MV titled alone on February 14th
Saiki: It got interesting reactions
Miku: The song name perfectly fits people who can't have a happy Valentine's Day. The lyrics too is heartbreaking one. Isn't it kind of nice to have a song for people with a crushed relationship or not so enjoyable Valentine's Day? It would make us happy if those people choose BAND-MAID "alone" as their Valentine's Day song po.
