recommend extra fine

I’m newish to fountain pens and looking for an everyday writing tool - reliable extra fine nib (~0.5mm)

I have tried the Platinum Prefounte 0.5 and I love the reliable writing, the Platinum blue black ink and the pen body itself, but I take notes a lot for work and have tiny handwriting, so anything wider than this is probably too wide for my needs.

Preference for a similar body shape as the Prefounte - cylindrical instead of tapered but with a stronger material (maybe metal?) since two Prefounte caps have cracked due to being squished in my notebook and shoved in my pocket.

Are any machined fountain pens supplied with an appropriately fine nib?
