I’m not a good tank

I got booted from 2 separate 1 star dungeons yesterday. This is my first mmo ever and I chose tank because it seemed easiest. I wish there was a feedback option for why I was booted. I’m not able to get and hold aggro ever. I understand the mechanics but I’m just not good. How do I get better at tanking?
