T1 Toxic Runs

Why have t1 runs gotten so much more toxic i finally convinced a buddy of mine to play the game with me. He had just finished the main story and unlocked t1 dungeons. The first dungeons we ran was karnix, keep in mind he just unlocked this, had a healer straight up leave followed by a dps. So we re q and the new ppl vote to kick him saying he's a bot be cause he had blue and green weapons. How is someone supposed to even get going in this game at thus point when you have sweat lords in t1 dungeons checking gear? How is someone who just unlocked the ability to get purple drops supposed to have maxed gear?
