Help me name this opal-example; Purple Tiger…

My second ever silversmithed piece. A lot to improve on, but pretty happy with how this boulder opal turned out.

Ethiopian opal, a smidgeon over 9 carats, and lit up like a Pink Floyd concert.

Had the honor of cutting this monster opal today for a friend. Had to show it off before I hand it back to her though, because it's just too damn sexy. CP 17.63 carats.

ID and guidance needed

Typically not the biggest fan of Ethiopian opals, but this one was fun to make!

Every time I order a new batch of cutters I can't help but count down the days until delivery. These 6 beauties will be boarding a plane shortly, destined for my wheels, stateside. Can't wait to see what secrets are revealed. For me, the process is just as enjoyable as the final result!

Help! Does a digged back surface spoil it for a ring?

Finished cabbing this Montana agate pendant and earring set this evening, will eventually set in silver.
